Nothing to Fix

A 2.5-Hour Live Experiential Workshop with Jason Shiers

Tuesday 24th Nov | 5–7:30pm UK | £69 | 16 Places Only

What if healing begins not with tools -

but with how we meet each other?

We’re often taught to listen for what’s wrong.

To help To analyse To manage.

But when we relate from the belief that something needs fixing, we miss the deeper intelligence already here - in the body, in the behaviour, in the space between us.

This workshop isn’t about pathology.

It’s about presence.

Not about theory - but what’s felt when safety is real.

What You’ll Experience

This is a live, guided experience where we slow down enough to notice:

How we listen is how we relate.

You’ll feel what it’s like to be truly met - and how most of us listen through the lens of urgency, judgement, or helping.

Most ‘helping’ creates distance.

Even compassion can disrupt safety. Be with another person without fixing, managing, or trying to change them. Gently. Now

Behaviour is intelligence, not disorder.

When nervous system patterns are seen as adaptive, not broken, shame dissolves and clarity emerges.

Our history shapes how we hold others.

You’ll reflect on the unseen ways your past enters the room - and how to return to presence.

Connection regulates.

You’ll leave with a felt sense of how safety reshapes a system when we stop creating and start being.

Presence is the intervention.

When we stop trying to change others, systems soften and regulation naturally emerges.

What Professionals Are Saying About this Work

What Addiction Professionals are Saying

I still can’t get over how many insights I had in two hours. If I had read about these approaches it would have taken me a long time to really understand it. You have to go through it to get it.

- Workshop participant

Excellent. I wish everyone on LinkedIn could have been there. Just a glimpse opens a hidden room.

- Psychotherapist

I tried this today. Less agreeable and more presence, and I can already see a shift with my clients. Felt more connected to them.

- Previous Attendee

Really honest and straightforward. No fluff.

- Previous Attendee

Down-to-earth and relational. Sharing his experiences felt normalising and permission-giving for me to show up as myself.

- Ryan D.

This work is life changing, everyone should be required to attend one of these workshops.

- Psychotherapist

I liked that it wasn’t role play. I don’t think I’ve truly experienced experiential learning in that way.

- Participant NTF

The learning was invaluable, and it’s incredible how much was packed into such a short course. A lot of light bulb moments.

- Workshop participant

I learned how to be more present & I did have insights during the workshop.

Questions?

Is this recorded?

No. Most of the workshop is paired, experiential work, and recording it would change what happens in it. It's live only.

Can I join if I’m not a therapist or professional?

Yes. It's designed for people who support others, professionally or personally, and open to anyone willing to meet themselves deeply.

Is this therapy?

No, it’s not a replacement for therapy or supervision, it’s a guided reflection space.

Is this a lecture?

No. You’ll be invited to notice what happens in you as you listen and are listened to. That’s where the learning is. There’s a short introduction at the start so you know what to expect.
